This year, I'm challenging my students to read 25+ novels. While I am requiring 12 novels, I hope that my students will be inspired to read more. In order to make this happen, I want to add current best-selling, award winning, and popular young adult novels to my classroom library. Having engaging novels readily available to my students will increase the likelihood that they will pick up a book beyond the "required" twelve. Donating to this project will provide my students with a variety of amazing novels! Avid readers become stronger thinkers and writers. This project will allow my students to build their critical thinking and writing skills.
