The use of all of the material that I have requested will help my students develop more understanding of math and science. Math and Science are one of the lowest scored exams at our school. I want to make sure that my students have a clear understanding of what math and science really are especially since they are ELL's. Students that are learning a new language need a lot of hands on experience and real world items that will help them make connections with the language. The use of these material will help my students become more successful and intelligent students. This will also help them apply what they have learned to things they have seen around their community or home. These students deserve the best many come from very low fortunate homes and are not able to buy items that can further help their education. This is why it is very important for me as a bilingual teacher to find items for my students to be successful and one day become college graduates.
