My students come from low income, diverse families and many have never used any form of technology at all. While we have two working computers in our classroom, they are outdated and difficult for my students to use - many do not understand how to use a computer mouse. I would love to be able to offer my students a chance to use innovative and accessible technology! Being able to use a touch screen would be much easier for my students, especially those with special needs and language barriers. Not to mention, there are so many amazing, free educational apps that are available to help students with letter recognition, phonics, and math and science concepts.
