I teach two groups of 32 students at a Dual Language Immersion Program. My students have to learn Core Math concepts in Portuguese. Sometimes it is already challenging for some students in their native language. Having these concrete materials will help tremendoulsy to improve students's learning. Hands-on activities in the classroom foster connections to real-world situations and increase learner engagement. These hands-on materials will be of great use for both whole class and small group. The Giant Magnetic materials will be a wonderful resource for students to be exposed to the new concepts in a concrete and visible way. The practice sets and games will be used for students to practice their learning in small and independent groups. Teaching with hands-on materials make math fun and memorable!!!
