I teach 7th grade Life Science at McClure Middle School, where I have the pleasure of working with a diverse group of students, including two co-taught classes with a SPED teacher, an on-level class, and an A/C Advanced class. Our school serves a community where 25% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch, and 37% of our students are Black, Latino, Native American, or Asian.
My goal is to make learning as engaging and hands-on as possible. I strive to inspire my students to see the beauty and wonder in the living world around us and to spark their curiosity to learn more. With a degree and passion in conservation, I am driven by the belief that "we do not inherit the land from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
Your support will help provide the resources needed to create a vibrant, interactive learning environment where all students can thrive. Thank you for helping us make science come alive!
