My students are a wonderful mixture of 11th and 12th graders in Memphis who take college classes for credit at our dual-enrollment high school, which operates in conjunction with Christian Brothers University.
These students are passionate and motivated young people from all walks of life, representing the rich racial, cultural, and socioeconomic diversity of our city.
They must apply in order to be accepted, even though it is a public school, which also highlights their commitment to their own education.
