It is important that I reach my students through their interests. There is no better way to improve their love of reading than by providing them with a diverse collection to assist them with learning what genres interest them! Struggling readers often pick up graphic novels or manga because it is less intimidating. I want my students to delve into a new world when they are reading and turn it into a hobby rather than a requirement. My student will appreciate the diversity in our classroom library. These will be conversation-starters!
