As a teacher, we push ourselves to provide the best academic experience we can for our students. We use the strangest things to create miracles in the classroom. You could give an empty paper towel roll to a teacher, and they could give you at least 10 ways to use it. Sometimes however, the resources we need are just not there and it is awesome organizations such as Donorschoose.org that give us a way to get what we need to succeed.
The simple things like pencils, crayons, construction paper, and gluesticks help turn a boring lesson into fun learning. My students know that worksheets that are blank on the back are going to be reused to write letters or words. My desire is to get resources in my classroom to help them achieve success.
