The focus in my classroom is to have each student engaged in learning every single day despite the circumstances we face. My students come to school eager to learn and often empty handed. Being able to provide my students with the basic school supplies makes allows them to focus on learning and not the tools needed to do so.
I will be touching approximately 60 scholars this year. Starting the year off with the basic supplies is a must. The anchor chart paper and sticky notes will be used to for student group work, essential questions, and scientific diagrams. Each day my students use a composition book as an interactive journal to record all our hands-on labs and activities. We use colored pencils, crayons, and various art supplies to make our diagrams as accurate as possible. Each student also needs two plastic folders, one to house all classroom assignments, and the other for homework. The copy paper will be used to print out parent newsletters, assignments, notes, and assessments.
