My students thrive on variety, graphics, trends, and technology to keep their attention. They do, however, have limited background knowledge and exposure to things that stimulate critical thinking. We are a Title I school and have a diverse school population. We are small, but determined. We often have to ration resources in class as there are not enough duplicate copies of material. This limits the type and size of our small group instruction which is so critical in meeting the individual needs of our students. We want to meet our students where they are and the constraints of limited resources hampers our efforts.
