Students have spent this year learning how to create their own songs and apply their creativity through programs accessible on their laptops. Now it is time for them to move to the next step! Students will design and code instruments and then make their songs interactive. Students will learn how different materials can be used as conductors, the process of organizing their coding sequence, and performing their songs for their classmates.
While using the Makey Makey kits, students will create and collaborate as their imagination and engineering skills intertwine. Students' excitement is distributed throughout the classroom as they work on their own projects and lend advice to their classmates. They also love to share their successes as they move toward completing their assignment.
