My students need chromebooks. Reading is essential in life. In our school we are giving the kids the opportunity to learn in two languages: English and Spanish. We are developing a reading project in Spanish with tales and stories they can interact with and be corrected by an online tutor. If reading in a language is great, imagine reading being able to read in two languages at the same time! Everyday we work with languages and produce new sentences and vocabulary in a second language. My students shine everyday in two languages! This project will increase their reading speed in Spanish as well as their accuracy and retelling ability in Spanish.
