I am the school librarian to many enthusiastic learners! Our school library is an exciting, active place where students read, research, and create.
Students visit the library once a week with their classes. During our weekly library instructional sessions students learn and practice many valuable information literacy skills to help them grow as independent readers and information seekers. Learning activities include lessons about different books and authors, research projects, and library scavenger hunts. We also love to connect with people around the world through Skype chats with authors and classrooms in different states and countries. Our library is also a place for students to discover and expand their love of reading as they explore the thousands of books available to them!
