My students cheer on the Boy Who Lived, stand with Katniss Everdeen, and daydream about relay races at Camp Half-Blood. My sixth graders are smart, energetic, kind students who eagerly devour new books. They come into class every day excited to share their reading journeys with me and their peers. Students in my classroom have a variety of interests and a wide range of reading levels. I want to give my students access to as many high-interest books as I can.

About my class
