In 2016 we created a Makerspace at our school. We included Osmo, Legos, LEGO WeDo's, Dot and Dash and Spheros. We were funded by a grant from Arvest Bank.
The LEGO MINDSTORMS will be a perfect addition to the Makerspace and classroom as students will be able to use iPads to build and code the robots. We will be using the LEGO MINDSTORMS to work on problem solving skills, critical thinking, and cooperative learning skills. I hope to eventually enter a robotics team in the LEGO Jr. Robotic Competitions. They will be an outstanding addition to our program.
