I have a morning pre-K English classroom and an afternoon pre-K Spanish classroom. My little ones enjoy their freedom of movement and freedom of learning. They are self-motivated and crave new learning. My students attend a high-needs, high-poverty school. The school is ECE-5 grade where 98% of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch. The school is located near the one of Denver's housing projects. Our families work hard to support our students' academic success at home - it is a neighborhood school. Our mission in our pre-K classroom is to help each child reach his/her potential through carefully planned lessons and activities that cultivate intrinsic motivation to be life-long learners.
