My school is a K-5 Title 1 school in Fayetteville, NC. My classroom is the media center, and serves the entire school. We are a small neighborhood school and many of our students move in or out of our school during the school year. Over three quarters of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch, but my school is part of an exciting program this year that allows all of my students to eat breakfast and lunch free of cost. Many of my students don't have access to computers at home and even at school, there is never enough technology to go around. Since the media center is the heart of my school, I want to create a safe, exciting, and challenging environment for my students as well as the staff.
