We are a small rural school with about 500 students. Inspiring students to love science is important because science is all around them and is relevant to their lives. That is why I take such pride in my students and their learning. From an early age, they interact with their surroundings and ask questions about it. It's a way of knowing and thinking about the world in which we live. Science can be as simple as choosing what they are going to eat and as complex as choosing whether they want to build a home that conserves energy.
