My name is Mrs. Rachel Medrano and I am about to start my 12th year of teaching. I teach in a small district in Texas where I have the privilege of teaching every 6th grade student. Banquete is a very community driven district where everyone knows each other and will lift up each other through everything happening in life.
I am lucky as I am following my students from fifth grade to sixth grade. My students love hands on experiences where math comes alive and where they can share what they know with anyone they can. My students are engaged throughout the lesson through movement and interactive lessons.
I absolutely love what I do: I learn from my students everyday, and I love helping them close any math gaps they might have.
