My school is located in a predominantly low income, very culturally diverse area of Lee County, Florida that was severely impacted with Hurricane Irma early this school year. We have over 1,200 students in grades K-5th representing many different races and cultural traditions. 100% of our students receive free school-prepared breakfast and lunch, as well as approximately 30% receiving free dinner through our after-school program.
Our STEM lab provides highly engaging, student-centered, STEM lessons that build our students' critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills and facilitate a lifelong passion for science, technology, engineering and math.
