I teach in an ESE Ind class with students ranging in grades K-2. I am a brand new teacher and was in a second grade class up until a week ago, where I was reassigned to an ESE InD class due to low enrollment in 2nd grade. I am excited to start this amazing class, but I am sad to say that the teacher that left just two weeks prior took EVERYTHING, including wall posters and even books! I have limited supplies and I am desperately seeking supplies for these amazing kids. I have students with disabilities ranging from autism, down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, visual impairment and physical impairment. These kids deserve the chance at an amazing education. The school is located in an urban area and is low income. Funds and supplies are limited. The class has little to no supplies for these kids to be able to have a productive and academically fulfilled day. These kids are bright, sweet, and have such a desire to learn.
