My students need books! Help us expand our classroom library. My 5th-grade students read different types of books, starting at pre-kindergarten to seventh grade. This is my second year teaching in public school my classroom library is small and I don't have a lot of books. Many of my students want more books to choose from and this opportunity will provide my students with books not only at their level but also books that will open the world of their imagination.
My hope is that students go home and talk to their parents about the books they are reading and spend time together learning about different things.
For almost all my students English is not their first language and it is hard for them to be excited about reading. We are a school in which many of my student's parents don't speak, write, or read English. Many of my students do not travel, so my students read to imagine. My students need books in order t
