I chose a leveled library and audio equipment for literacy centers so my students can access "good fit" books that support their individual needs. Once each student knows his/her reading level, that student will be able to read any time during centers, non instruction time, small group reading, pair share time, in the morning upon arrival, etc. and do so without frustration because the books are leveled according to their needs. This system along with the Audio Reading center will allow students to enhance their learning and access materials independently. Accessing materials independently gives students a sense of ownership to their work.
About my class
