Our Elementary school is getting more and more students every year and I am so lucky to interact with all of them. The library time is so important to students because really it is their time to explore anything that excites them. We have books, blocks, and coloring stations, but I know that these microscopes and slides can be so beneficial. They can use their eyes and hands to explore the world from another angle, and hopefully this will ignite curiosity in their brains! I want every kid to see wonder in the world around them.
Every day is a new day in the library and I know that having a view into our micro world will bring new ideas to our students. This science technology is not in our classrooms, so having these microscopes in the library will be great! They can explore and find out what peaks their imagination as individuals.
The microscopes will also be available to teachers and classroom. Microscopes can be utilized and checked out of the library to enhance science curriculum.
