Carson is located in Cincinnati, Ohio is full of vibrant children, grades PK-6, 93+ % of whom are considered economically disadvantaged. Their potential, however, is endless. As the music teacher, I see all children, grades K-6, and nearly 600 children get solid music education once or twice a week. We work to support their academic endeavors in addition to socio-emotional growth. Music intrinsically builds community, which is one of my main goals as a music educator, in addition to developing a generation of music creators, not just consumers.
