It's important for students to know what's going on in the world especially when they will grow up to be adults that will have to deal with certain issues and solve some of our world's problems. My students will be able to use the knowledge that they learn from their Scholastic Magazines to construct classroom debates on current topics such as bullying, the environment and politics. The students will learn how to confidently state their opinions and give concrete evidence and support for their individualized opinions. They will learn to value and respect each others opinions where they agree or not.

About my class
