This collection of books will continue to enhance the classroom library that my students value and use daily. The books included are those that students have loved and want to continue to read, including their favorite fantasy series and their beloved graphic novels. The collection also includes books that provide windows and mirrors for my students to see themselves in the texts they read, as well as to offer them a glimpse of other lives and perspectives through diverse characters and stories. My students already have an astonishing love for independent reading, and this project will help enrich their reading lives.
