My students are awesome! We live in a rural/suburb and have a wide range of incomes and races at our public school in South Mississippi. Students are starving to come out of the textbook age and into the new technology age. They want what speaks to them best--actively engaged teacher who uses technology to enhance instruction. But they also desperately want old school tactile approaches that go hand in hand with the new technological advancements!
