This project is to build up a new classroom for 7 students. They are a fun bunch of kids grades K-3 and do not have a filled classroom for what they need to learn and have fun. They love art and sensory stuff. There are kids who love numbers and letters and can use play dough and dough mats to practice making these. We could even send home some mats for them to practice at home. The kids love art but do not have many options for art supplies to create with. Many students are on the spectrum and need sensory input so some sensory items would help them. The classroom has very few books and they want to read. I am also teaching social emotional learning and don’t have books for that. I am building this classroom up from very little to best educate these students. All of the materials could collectively help students to work on goals and change their learning outcomes.
