My school is part of a large school system and is located in the heart of a predominantly Hispanic community. One hundred percent of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. My students are eager learners, and are very interested in learning about their changing minds and bodies. Health and Wellness is a class where students feel safe and free from criticism. It is a place where they can ask questions and learn important elements about their development.
