In addition to having Intellectual disabilities, many of my students come from low-income areas and face significant challenges on a regular basis, which can weigh heavily on their minds and affect their ability to focus while in school. In response, I strive to create a school environment that is stress-free, calming, and inviting. My goal is to foster a space where they feel safe and comfortable, allowing them to relax and fully engage in their learning. By cultivating this type of setting, I hope to inspire them to reach their full academic potential. A calm and inviting atmosphere can make a big difference in their ability to focus and learn.
About my class
