As a special education teacher in a public middle school, I currently work with 15 students with varying abilities and disabilities. The majority of my students have been diagnosed with ADHD, learning disabilities or emotional disturbances. With these types of disabilities, it is very hard for my students to remain focused and on task during the school day while sitting in a stationary desk. It is my goal to get a Pedal Desk from Youth Fit so my students will be able to stay focused on desktop activities while also burning off excess energy.

About my class
