I have a group of 25 energetic 5-6 year old kindergartners. They are so excited to come to school each day to learn, sing, talk, share and grow together. I am new to my school and feel so energized this year! I am fortunate to have found a staff, students, and parents who are just as excited about coming to school each day as I am. These kids have such grand imaginations and will be our future doctors, teachers, engineers and much more!
I have a diverse group of students. Some kids come with vocabulary that shows parents work with them. I also have those who may not have had much interaction and limited social skills. School is a place where we can grow together and nurture each other. Their minds are like sponges and they will absorb so much from their peers. Social interactions is so important in kindergarten. Help me feed their little minds with a new play kitchen. I can just see their little faces light up and their imaginations run wild.
