My students are AMAZING! I have students in my classroom from all walks of life. I teach in Denver, Colorado and I work in a school that services Denver's largest homeless population. Our school community is unique because we have also attracted students from some of the most prominent neighborhoods in Denver. Bringing students together from across socioeconomic lines has helped us to develop a true community. All students learn from each other in different ways. Students are involved with service learning, cooperative learning, and social skills in addition to the rigorous academics that we focus on. My students are compassionate, caring, generous, thoughtful learners. I am very lucky to have the privilege of teaching these amazing kiddos!
