My students are in grades 4-5 grade equivalent. They have disabilities that range from Intellectual Disability to Autism. Some of my students have fine motor deficits and others have deficits working computers. My students are eager to learn but they often get frustrated when they are not able to do the work. We have one iPad for the entire class of 11-15 students. They are capable of pointing and sliding the iPad to access learning programs that they are not otherwise able to do on the computer. The use of the iPad allows them to learn key concepts and skills and have fun doing it.
