The students I have the pleasure of serving are of low socioeconomic status. This status is one that often measure a combination of education, income and the occupation of those of unfortunate generational circumstance. As a product of circumstances much like my students I see in them the same resilance that changed my life. When these students are faced with adversities they approached them head on with determination, power, and control. In serving 40 students daily in an urban school district where 100% of the buildings students receive free breakfast and lunch, it is impative to an abundance of resources for the students.
