My students are mostly Hispanic from low incomes. They are caring students and really love to learn. Using the iPads helps the English Language Learners because of the images and the engagement. My school is 98% Hispanic and on Free and Reduced cost lunch program. The school was built in the 1960's and lacks many modern amenities including very ancient computers and half working headphones in the computer lab.
