My students come from low-income, minority families, where less than 10% of the school graduate from college. The only chance they have for a successful future is by learning skills for getting technical jobs. I teach a Computer Technician class that teaches students how to repair computers and provide help desk support. It is frustrating when I cannot provide the resources that my students need to learn all of the necessary skills to be successful when they graduate high school.
