These tablets will be used on a daily basis to help with differentiation and group work of the subjects I am teaching. In ELA, they will be used to access reading resources that will meet students at their level and help with improvement. In Social Studies and Science, students will be able to take virtual field trips, complete web quests activities, as well as, complete inquiries and researches on topics, helping to build on their background knowledge, which in turn, will help them retain more information. In Math, students will be able to access mathematical sites to help enhance their learning experiences, as they learn. Because our society is a need to know now generation, TECHNOLOGY, can be used to help students experience, things, that they would not, otherwise be exposed to. It also helps with engagement; in addition, the tablets will help students to be comfortable with working with technology, which is the wave of the future!
