With STEM labs, my students will become part of the scientific process. Each lab leads students through four weekly lessons using the inquiry process, allowing students to investigate and learn from each other. The month will culminate with an in-depth project-based engineering activity that really brings concepts to life.
Every Friday afternoon during SAS (Serious About Science), students will be able to be engineers as they design and build roller coasters, experiment and understand how electrical circuits work, explore space and gravitational forces, along with other hands-on activities.
Students will work through each activity in groups of 4-5 students, building critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that they will need for success in the future!
