Students will use these materials in small group settings to explore different topics. They will do research projects and science experiments based on the information and topics in the science readers. They will also use these readers to expand their vocabulary and build their background knowledge. A love for reading has to be nurtured at this age of learning. It is important that they are exposed to different genres of text with different topics that will peak their interest. A lot of these students have not been exposed to the materials and topics in these articles and interacting with them in class will broaden their background knowledge, vocabulary and peak their interest in reading.

About my class
