I am a fourth grade teacher at Brentwood Elementary School in Fayetteville, NC. I believe it is our passion to provide consistency, love, and support to our kids. Education is and always has been a very important aspect of my life. I believe the greatest gift I ever received was an education. Teachers have one of the most challenging and important jobs. They are shaping the lives of students through passing on values and beliefs. As a teacher, I want my students to develop and acquire skills to think critically and solve difficult problems. I have always tried to create lessons that will both inspire learning and instill life long curiosity about the world around them. My students have an exciting year ahead of them. A year filled with projects and learning that will build these critical thinking skills, but also a love for learning.
