I work with middle school special education students in a high poverty community. My students have disabilities that range from Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder to Specific Learning Disabilities to Mild Intellectual Disabilities to emotional and behavior disorders. My students are the ones who constantly get in trouble in other classes for talking, being out of their seat, and not following directions.
