My students need supplies such as 40 My Writing Journals, a gross of Dr. Suess pencils, and four sets of Because of Winn Dixie Literature Set with Guide and resources such as Context Clues and Bananagrams Word Game and Hot Dots to differentiate their learning for better understanding. The students in my class are struggling to make the connections that we all take for granted. With these resources the students will be able to use multiple ways to learn the skills necessary for them to catch up academically to where they should be and get a much need boost on their academic careers.
The resources I have asked for are not tools that the students would otherwise see or have an opportunity to use and benefit from. For this reason I am asking for your help to give my kids the tools to learn this fundamental skill that will help them with all other aspects of life.
