Hi! I'm Rotunda Wilcox. I'm a Kindergarten teacher at Patricia Sullivan Partnership School. Our school population is made up of the current and alumni residents of the Metropolitan Ministries Homeless Shelter. These students have so much to deal with on a daily basis, at a very young age. I strive to provide them with a equitable learning experience, by bring innovation and creativity into the classroom. I attend to their social and emotional needs as well as their academic needs. I encourage my students to set goals that reach far beyond their current socioeconomic status, and provide them with the tools and motivation necessary to reach them. My expectation is for everyone of my students: is to make learning gains in the classroom, develop socially and emotionally appropriate relationships, and to become productive members of society. Thank you for taking the time to review and/or fund my student projects.
