Hi! My name is Christine Rowlan. I have my BA in Early Childhood Education and I have my elementary and full SEI endorsements. I also have my provisional Gifted endorsements. I am in my 6th year teaching in Deer Valley School District. I teach math to all the 4th grade and the gifted 3rd grade students. We are a STEM focused school so my students are problem solving, engineering, and looking for ways to make their world better every day. Over 30% of students at our school receive free or reduced lunch and we have a high transient rate for our area. Along with teaching I am an adviser for our elementary and middle school Student Council, I co-chair our school's Math Committee, I am the lead gifted cluster teacher, I manage our gifted summer camps, and facilitate classes for teachers pursuing a Gifted Endorsement. Teaching is truly my one passion and I can't imagine doing anything better!
