I am blessed to have students who are passionate about the arts, especially musical theater. My students show extreme dedication to learn their roles. They spend countless hours memorizing lines, practicing vocal melodies and running scenes. As a small high school, it is hard to give them every aspect that professional theater can provide. My goal is to give them a positive experience every performance. Working with a microphone is an easy way to improve a student's experience in a show, as well as, increase the performance quality for the audience.
Microphones can be the gift that keeps on giving to the students and the community, creating memories for years to come. Having working microphones will give each student a chance to showcase their capabilities and hard-work at an easy to hear volume. Microphones would allow us to increase our performance quality by enabling us to add more live musicians to our shows. The more microphones we own, the larger shows we can stage. Larger shows mean more roles, where there will be an increased chance for students to have a moment on stage they will never forget!
