I teach in a public school in Southeastern Kentucky. Our preschool program consists of students whose households are mostly below the poverty line and they haven't had the advantages of other kids. Despite their challenges they come to school excited to learn every single day and are always wanting to try new things.
Preschool is such an important milestone because it sets the foundation for the school years and really instills a love of learning in my students. My students are eager to learn and they love to be exposed to new ideas and materials.
For most of my students they have never been given an opportunity to explore the type of learning materials that they are able to use in our preschool classroom. They absolutely love to learn and are extremely motivated in everything that they do.
