Having access to IPads and the variety of applications available allow students who are nonverbal to communicate throughout the school day. With these IPads, the Autism Cluster at our school will have the additional resources it needs to better serve these exceptional children on the Autism Spectrum.
Students will be able to interact socially during breakfast, lunch, and recess. Students will also become active participants during their academic instruction. For me, allowing my exceptional students to advocate for themselves and have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers is monumental!
Please, help me in my effort to give every child a voice, and help facilitate their communication needs! I believe all students can learn, and for me, that is non-negotiable! Exceptional students have the right to interact socially with their families, peers, and community members each and every day!
