My physics students are incredibly inquisitive problem-solvers, who are eager to apply their conceptual knowledge to hands-on creative projects. They have a genuine drive to understand the principles that explain the world around us.
With over half of our students coming from low-income households, it is critical that I am able to provide them with the tools necessary to learn by doing rather than by listening and reading alone since they may not have the opportunity to do so in their home environment.
